Vintage Curtis Jere, signed as C. Jeré , 1970's Huge metal raindrops tree sculpture

Dramatic C. jere tree sculpture stands almost 6 feet tall.

This tree was made in the late 60's yet is in excellent condition.

Composed of actual wooden limbs painted gold and accented with multitudes of burnished metal leaves!
The wood on Jere's large free standing trees was always painted Gold. The gold paint is usually almost gone - but most of it remains on this one. Leaves are in good condition with vintage patina.

See photos A similar Jere tree is shown on page 90 of th e March 2008 edition of Architectural Digest with a $8,900 price. It was also featured in Metropolitan Home magazine (see photo) .This one has oblong leaves. We also have one with the round "raindrops" shape leaves , see other items. Measures - 6 feet tall X 32" at widest.
