Bijan - Magnificent Late 60's Red Resin & Metal Starburst - HUGE
Fabulous huge starburst features ruby red resin inserts that add a dramatic touch of color.
Unsigned, but Bijan said it's his and that he only made 4-5 of these back in the late 60's.
3 feet in diameter with a 9" projection from the wall. The craftsmanship of this handmade vintage sculpture is superb with every attention to detail from the torch flamed color of the metal to the meticulous hand beaded edging. The resin cones add a dramatic punch of rich red color.

Unsigned but Bijan Bijan himself has confirmed that this is indeed his work.
While this is the only one like it that we have ever seen offered, Bijan said that he made 4 or 5 of these back in 1967.
We were contacted by a collector in California who has one similar to this by Bijan - his has green resin.
That would make it part of a limited edition from the late 60's - Vintage Starburst's don't get much better than this.
